Z-Hangers

Hi I'm Casey! I'm 20 years old and I was hired to start a blog and incorportate this new invention called the Z-Hanger, into my personal blog. I'm going to be blogging about things like fashion, friends, my own life, etc., and at the same time I'm going to show you how the Z-Hanger is the greatest invention ever!! So here goes!

The Z-Hanger was inspired by the desire to solve a common problem – difficulty in getting hangers in and out of tight neck shirt openings. We found it to be a pain to have to unbutton collared shirts before hanging them and also hated how old-fashioned hangers stretched out the necks of our favorite sweaters.

The Z-Hanger solved these problems, and was found to be so revolutionary that we received a utility patent on the product.

We are currently seeking to partner with major companies that wish to take advantage of this innovative new product offering for their customers.

On Monday, March 17, 2008, the InventHelp®/INPEX® Inventors Corner Pavilion, in conjunction with the Housewares Show, hosted a “Pitch to the Pros” Inventor Review and contest. The goal was to give inventors who are trying to introduce their new products to industry a chance to present it to experts in the Housewares industry, get constructive feedback and have the chance to be named the overall “best invention” and win a prize package.

There were eight experts who acted as judges to review products. The inventors had approximately 5-8 minutes to present their idea, receive feedback and to be graded by the judges. At the end of the review, all the scores were tabulated and an overall winner was selected.

This year, the winner was Mark Joseph and his invention the Z-Hanger. The Z-Hanger features a unique Z-shaped hook that eliminates unbuttoning collared shirts or stretching out the neck of your favorite shirts and sweaters.
